The Magic Within Poem by Rebecca Walters

The Magic Within

There is fire within me
A fire that burns
But yet nevers consumes
A fire left undisturbed
My never ending source of light
What makes me move

They are stars that orbit my eyes
Each a tiny dot of light
Which illuminates
The vast sky within my eyes

A violent ocen lies within my head
With waves that try to wash
To desperatly drought
Every single trace of despair
And at the same time
Bring to the shore
Little pieces of colorful shells
For the little things are the ones
The ones that never fail to bring a smile to my face

Many people wonder what it is
What is the magic that lies within
I precisely can't tell
For no one knows the secrets that move Earth
Nor the secret that lighten a star
Not even the star itself
