There’s something quite magical
About brilliant red dirt roads
I’m captivated by the rusty shade
As on my morning walk I stroll
Brilliant and demanding
The message that it sends
Unlike any other anywhere
They set their own style and trend
Other things set it off, you know
A pond, the trees and such
Oh how I love those red dirt roads
In the early morning hush
And did you ever stop to notice
How cattle stand out across the way
Surrounded by bright red dirt
Ah yes, it’s where I’ll always stay
So if you’ve never seen a red dirt road
And been enchanted by the color
You MUST go where you’ll find them
Because for roads there is no other!
