You were the first to see my beauty.
You were the first to warm my blood.
For you I wasn't just 'a cutie'
But someone, something more than that.

You were the first to take my body.
You were the first to come so close.
I felt as if I drank some toddy,
But it was you who gulped me first.

It was like jumping from Olympus,
It was committing suicide.
But though I'm neither Muse nor Venus,
I didn't die but I survived.

You got my heart, my skin, my pages
And every inch of my dull life.
And then I saw that you're the Magus
Because you filled my soul with light.
