The Man Outside The Window...

I stood outside the window,
Watching as you cried yourself to sleep,
I know what I did was wrong,
I know what I did caused you pain,
But I did it for you,
You must believe me,
I stood outside the window,
And watched as you awoke from your slumber,
You walked to me,
But was unable to see,
For my sacrifice,
Was my life.
