The master is not untouched
by failure,
nor cloaked in perfection,
but marked by the scars
of rising again and again,
carried forward by a fire—
ever burning.
They too began from
the unknown point
where all must start:
in uncertainty's shadows,
with trembling hands,
and legs unsteady.
But they refused
to let failure dishearten,
or weaken their resolve.
Instead, they wore it as a badge—
a fire to reach the highest peaks.
Some freeze at the first edge,
paralyzed by the fear of falling,
as if failure were a chasm—
too wide to cross.
They do not see the truth:
Every stumble teaches walking,
every misstep whispers wisdom,
every mistake deepens the knowing—
of what it means to rise.
No one reaches the summit
untouched by slipping down.
The seeker and the master share
the same story—
but the master moves forward,
fear clinging like a shadow,
yet powerless to halt the steps.
So take the adventure boldly.
Start messy.
Fail boldly.
Let the lessons carve you.
Let the journey shape you,
until you reach where
your master has gone,
even beyond the last point.
