The Memories That Fade Poem by courtney helm

The Memories That Fade

Rating: 5.0

My memories fade,
I want them to stay,
It's not fair, it was by me they were made,
Part of my heart is about to break,
I remember our families at the lake,
We used to be best friends until everyhting tumbled in,
It's never been the same since then,
We used to do barbecue,
I remember how heavy the wind blew,
We would boat,
And we would float,
We used to stay in cabins and tents,
But now it's all gone,
It seems like it all came and went.

this is a great poem. touches the heart, i know how memories fade, believe me old things end, good things never last, but neither do bad things. new memories will be made.
