The Mercy Poem by Gangadharan nair Pulingat..

The Mercy

In the pavement he died
A destitute himself no one to look after
Or no one came to claim the body
For a proper farewell with last rites
At last the nearby bundle the balance of life
The old man carried as a treasure throughout
Some one opened with curiosity
Wonderful it was full of certificates passed
That too in distinction rank in all exams.
He was a scholar, but some where missed
The life he thrown to the mercy of world.
