The Metastable State

Stuck in the metastable state,
Neither ideally excited nor grounded,
Could this possibly be a sanction
For once being jubilantly activated!
Can't actually evade this state
Given the current situation,
Yet awaiting like the electron
From here to be pushed down
To the stationary ground state.
