The Middle-Class Poem by Randy McClave

The Middle-Class

Soon the middle-class will be no more
It will end from a political war,
The rich and the wealthy will win
And sadly helped by the middle-class women and men.
Their social security and benefits will be gone
But, taxes and high prices will continue on,
The middle-class screamed they're tired of helping the needy
So, instead they decided to help the wealthy and the greedy.
The politicians and every CEO is now a millionaire
Only for them and their wealth do they really care,
And for them the middle-class will always fight
To give the wealthy and the politicians their might.
The middle-class pays more taxes than the wealthy pays
And the wealthy always gets the praise,
There once was more of us than them
Now our life and way of living they want to condemn.
We are taught to blame the poor and the Immigrants and the illegals
And then we attack them all like patriotic eagles,
We blame them for high prices and crimes in our land
We place the blame on them and their colored hand.
The politicians and the wealthy just sit back and smile
Where at everyone they direct and place our hate and guile,
The rich get richer and the middle-class gets less
The politicians and the wealthy want more to control and possess.
Every year the retirement age is raised
And the wealthy and the politicians are still praised,
Now we all must never forget, but remember
When we look forward to November.
