The Mind - The Jumping Boat Poem by Prabir Gayen

The Mind - The Jumping Boat

Rating: 5.0

The Mind

Where mind drops
There is knowledge,
When mind drops bliss dawns
The nature of mind is change,
It jumps from branch to branch.

Boredom is the breath of mind,
Mind is a series of boredom,
From Lotus to rose and then
Lotus again,
Under the Sun old becomes New,
and new becomes tradition.

Mind dwindles within forms,
It chooses without cause,
Mind is simply a wafting wave,
Sometimes drops the essence,
Embraces false jingle of words.

Gold is boredom and stone is attractive,
Mind is a jumping dream
and outward it flows,
It is available nowhere,
A deep trembling self within.

Dust of inner Being
Storm in a deadening desert,
Within and without there is none,
Only the forest of useless Tune
Mind is a song without music,
It drops and song flows through Being.

Mind is a world with floating Joy,
Without witnessing it brings only pain,
Mind is a world with glittering grain,
Without Mind a deep vacuum reigns,
Mind drops dream drops and The Sky dawns.

No wave no dream and no choice of words,
When mind sleeps divorce happens,
With suspended breath body dissolves,
Mind becomes the semblance of Naught,
Without mind death happens and deathlessness blossoms.
