The Moon, Night Changes Poem by Aya Zakaria

The Moon, Night Changes

Rating: 4.0

Oh, Dear Life I am the one to blame,
for closing my eyes,
but opening my heart,
lost in the darkness, the night changes
slowly giving in to you,
driving too fast,
The moon is bringing us together tonight,
That's when the night changes,
are you ashamed of our love?
or you're just not amazed.

Singing blues,
perhaps It's too soon,
wondering if you see the light in our darkness,
or are you still regretting our first kiss?
is it driving you crazy,
when I look into your eyes,
the light vanishes,
like how your emotions vanished.

The Moon that brought us together,
The Moon now pushes us away from each other,
perhaps it's a sign, of your selfishness,
or you just don't understand love?
