The Moon Will Pardon Poem by Victoria Davis

The Moon Will Pardon

The Moon will pardon.
I stole but two stars
from his celestial inventory
so my eyes might capture my love
the way his have captured me.
I stole not for the glistening silver
of the stars, but for love.
All for love.
When he understands,
The Moon will pardon.
