The More I Know
The more I know,
the more I see—
how little I truly know.
The more I seek,
the more I find
that knowledge fades
into the boundless unknown,
an endless sea
where truths rise like waves
only to vanish
into the hush of the deep.
The more I hold,
the more I learn
that what I grasp
is but a shard,
a fleeting glimmer of the infinite.
Each certainty I cling to
crumbles like dust,
slipping through fingers
too frail to hold the eternal.
The more I know God,
the more I understand—
there is only Him,
unfolding in stillness,
revealing in storm,
whispering in all that is,
all that was,
and all that will ever be.
And in this knowing,
I am unmade,
a drop returning to the ocean,
a star dissolving into light.
'I' am no longer apart,
for only He remains—
whole, yet everywhere.
