The Murder Of Shade Poem by Muhammad Shanazar

The Murder Of Shade

The hewn tree, tall, thick and green,
Casting soothing shade, clear and clean,
Fell flat with the thumping, choking sound,
Prostrate ravaging, pillaging the ground.
It bewailed, it bemoaned and it did weep,
“How shade is murdered in valleys deep! ”
