The Muses Poem by Steve McKnight

The Muses

An inspiration,
Of vocation,
Prudent gain,
You may attain,
As their device,
Is beyond advice!

As children of the creator,
They are the vindicator,
With true austerity,
They defend posterity!

There is no decline,
With their shrine,
As they beset,
Those in debt,
As even the rotten,
Don't want to be forgotten!
