The Nature Of Creation - Poem by Cee Bea

Its the nature of creation
and all that is achieved
that becomes the sum of hate and love
of lifetimes that we weave

breathless I will soon become
as life is faded by the sun
bound by ties that come undone
life's in truth, a hearts test sum

Still even now, I think of you
in fields where once your flower grew
along with shadows that I thought I knew
that show what's false and all thats true

near the end of every start
you'll find my keep and broken heart
you asked, I answered in tones defined
that love will always shatter time

You I see, 'cross diamond sights
found still where many smiles light
in another day, another night
where I guess I hoped, that i just might

be more than that, a passing thought
born by random paths we cross
or way of traps in which we're caught
by hearts we sell, that can't be bought

within the storms sweet bitter end
we cross the wires, that will not bend
but in my heart, that often breaks
lives all the love we can not take

Its what you give, and cant take back...
though you always had the knack
to see past all my warning signs
and glimpse the truth of my design

while broken now like shattered glass
I know it brings another path
but within a fire, my heart still burns
as it waits and hopes for your return
