"The New Millennium" Poem by Jacob Muntazar

"The New Millennium"

Rating: 5.0

From horse and camel travel to cars and planes
From paper information to network games
From black and white boarders to the equality lane
From total annihilation to six billion names

We have made it, we have made it through the millennium
We have made it, we have made it to the new millennium

Two world wars - Atomic, Nuclear bombs
Religion, communism and now the capital thrown
Deep sea wonder, exploring outer zones
DNA decoding, growing human bones

We have made it, we have made it through the millennium
We have made it, we have made it to the new millennium

We'll take the best of history
Get rid of things that cause misery
Make Peace a part of our chemistry
In this new millennium, we'll solve most mysteries
