The New World Order Poem by Tor Magnor Solvang

The New World Order

A New World Order, three faces it wears,
One a grand shift, with global affairs.
After the Cold War, the big powers changed,
Cooperation hoped, the world rearranged.

Then new voices rise, a different song,
Challenging old ways, where they don't belong.
Old rules may fray, a new game's in play,
Nations aligning in a different way.

Another meaning, darker and deep,
A secret cabal, while the world's asleep.
A shadow government, with hidden might,
Seeking one ruler, day and through night.

They claim crises are planned, to steal our say,
Watching our lives, in a scary way.
And in this tale, old fears reside,
Whispers of power, where darkness can hide.

A third vision, of peace it did dream,
A hopeful future, a global gleam.
Writers and thinkers, a world united,
Where borders dissolve, and peace is ignited.

So three distinct thoughts, in one name they twine,
A shift in the powers, a dark, hidden design,
Or a peaceful tomorrow, a hopeful, bright sign.
