The Night Sea Breeze Poem by Barbara Velasquez

The Night Sea Breeze

Rating: 4.5

The night sea breeze smell so sweet,
As warm ocean water pounce my feet.

The black sparkling gold sand cradles me genteelly into a hole,
The glistening clear blue water rises to cleanse my soul.

Walking solo on a long lonely narrow pier,
The sea breeze brushes gently and whispers in my ear.

Saying one day some one will be there,
Embracing you close with no fear.

Heartaches of loneness still fills the air,
The desires for tender loving care.

Longing for strong loving hands,
To caress my shoulders as we stand.

Walking through all those lovely nights,
Prayed for someone to hold me tight.

Wishing hard almost everyday,
For someone special to come and stay!
