The One Poem by Marie Flores

The One

I kept on searching for The One,
thinking that he would come.
They say our eyes reveal
the true intention of the heart
So I hold every eye glancing at mine
believing that one of them would be The One.

No luck. Instead, I met worldly eyes.
Still, I kept on waiting for him to come.

Is he true?
Is he real?
Will he really come?
What if not?
-Unalienable thoughts kept replaying, vibrating;
hitting me like a madman.
But I did not flinch.

I earnestly hope everyday that one day
he'll come and meet me.
Everyday..Everyday..
Until I turned my head, looked over my shoulder
and saw this man standing-
carefully observing me,
Passionately staring at me.
As I let him hold my eyes,
I felt..
something unrecognizable,
inexplicable.
A feeling that is so foreign,
but felt so right.
So raw and real.
I concluded it was Love.

Had I not engrossed myself from finding
I would have noticed him sooner.
I would have met him sooner.

From the day, I had found my love
I know I wont' be singing
'Dear No One' anymore
That I'll be singing 'Fly Me To The Moon'
from that day on.

And I think that gentleman likes me too.
I know it.
I can feel it.
because his eyes told me so.

In search of the love your waiting is meaningful behold them who can bow before you a love of your style and a love of liveliness love must be a passion than a fashion don't let him to just use & through but must keep it as precious for ever. a love of love is a love of love I did not get it yet because it is precious if you are carefull
