The One Called God Poem by Bakare Oluwagbenga Michael

The One Called God

Though the trees may grow so tall that they see beyond Everest;
The earth may quake so deep that it creates rift so deep as hell;
A wind may howl and blow powerful enough to move great mountains;
A river may grow so deep that it could sink a royal castle;
An ocean may flow so strong that it could make waves as high as sky-scrapers;
Thunder may clap so loud and scary that it could deafen the ears;
A storm may rumble so fierce that mighty ships are broken;
The sun may burn so hot and shine so much brighter than a perfect future;
And the rain may fall so much that it floods great walls and cities;
-
-
They all come to bow before one SUPREME BEING;
The ONE who gave them the power to bear their names;
The only ONE who knows the reason for their existence;
The ONE who was, who is and who will always be;
The ONE called GOD...
