The One That Got Away Poem by James Bloom

The One That Got Away

From the moment I saw her I knew she was the wonder of my world.
From the way her hair looked as it shined in the sun it was blonde.
I liked the way in the wind it would of curled.
If I could I would of made her mine by using my magic wand.

From the time I saw her in class I loved the way she smiled.
Every time she looked at me it would cheer me up.
You should of seen her the way her body was styled.
Her face was pretty she was as cute as a pup.

The most remembered time was when i hurt her by accident.
If we had a ladder I would take her to the top.
It's a shame I didn't give her care to a greater extent.
Everyday I'd wish that I would see her at the bus stop.

If only she didn't leave school I'd would of have told how I felt.
I heard Rumours when she left for me she had a crush.
When I heard that I felt that she could have been my life belt.
Although I couldn't do anything about it I had a adrenaline rush.
