i've sacrificed the best parts of myself.
i... find what motivates me is avoidance
of your reminders that you
won't be just as well.

the screaming that keeps
me awake at night
also the only sign
that says i'm still alive
your unwavering dedication
to your cause
distracting from the emptiness
that will be the cost...

sometimes your theories need a place to go.
why not me? you know my faults all by name.
i thought if i tried to earn your love,
you'd see you've only
had yourself to blame.
