The Opportunists Of Positivity Poem by Olusegun Sotade

The Opportunists Of Positivity

If bonce of the rich is seduced by oodles of ideas,
the pauper's is mesmerized with more of it to ponder.
Prince's birth is not different from that of the slave,
so will the corpse of both the rich and poor end in grave.

It ceases not to mystify the scholar,
how a trained brain of highest grade
ends up a vessel from which a job that is white-collar
sips to build conglomerate owned by a dullard but master of trade.

Is it ‘He who fails to plan, plans to fail'
or ‘He who hails to plan the failed, the failed plans to hail'?
For there is no valley without mesa.
Failure as part of life makes us better.

If it were to be soft as pap,
countless are the billionaires asap.
Life void of penury is not at finger snap
as you pose, so will you be portrayed in photo snap.

Just as muscle is not a key to victory,
so is the learned not a visa to prosperity.
And if it were to be by planning,
the failed wouldn't have won Grammy.

From the lips of billionaires,
network of tiny streams make big river.
Tiny is the insignificant but all inclusively favoured pop of unplanned for idea
triggered by yet a mysterious pitcher to make one greater.

Brain fetches more penny than muscle,
yet muscle is stressed when brain makes double.
Only the opportunists of positivity make billion without tussle.
For they either appease the principle of wealth or their creator to make it bubble.
