Sanjo the great oracle has spoken
He has spoken the minds of the gods
Let he that has ears listen to the voice of caution
Or be ready to incur the wrath of the gods.

Only a dog that is destined to get lost they say
Would not listen to the hunter's whistle
The oracle has urged you not to prolong your stay
Consider that, let someone else take the mantle.

Surely the ravenous cabal will urge you otherwise
Like they did to your predecessors in times past
Before eating what they serve you, be discreet and wise
Else you would be feasting on a poisonous repast.
