The Orangutan I Saw Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

The Orangutan I Saw

The reddish-haired ape
Hanging by the branches
Of the tree,
Giving a close hug, embrace to it,
The Orangutan,
Bizarre-looking, grotesque orangutan,
Strange in behaviour, gesture and manner,
Living with babies and juveniles
Telling of primitive life and pristine creatures.
