The Other Side Poem by Neran Sati

The Other Side

dedicated to all the poets tormented out virtual love

Who are You, You.. who can splash and stick one's heart to it ribs
holding its breath like a hot pancake?

Who could turn one's heart into a frog singin, gazing stars
.. into a stinkin whitlow refusin to get off the host.

And, who could turn one's heart into a giant bird fillin the cage, not
allowin a single flit.. turn one's heart into a dog loosin his master
.. a wolf howling on Moon, out of the deep sleet?

Were you not this Moon aloft, or maybe it scorchin Sun upon Him, lone
in the desert, lost the traveller without hat? Or, just a child shooting his ball
.. but innocuous creek playin with air?

You, who once - out of nowhere - filled His heart on nectar golden rain
sweet with raisins! Painted with colors of the twilight winter sky, then
drawing your face upon..

That face of allurin smile on it photo sent to Him, never knowin - if
real or spam. Then suddenly, like winter sun, left him in the dark,

and no stars - even not a cloud to dump his grief..

Flung him to that desolate void, turnin to a black hole, out of your
despair - yet knowin - as You can't be changelin, must be devourin
all else? Or, just like, His heart be yellin like the widow's?

Are you that horrendous Demon out of His worst nightmare?
The unplayed poker card upon his life?

No, no one could do it - but You - just another heart off its abode!
Ghost without shape or color, it mind hidin beyon reach of thirsty
eye.. the screen of His abiding dream.. the chain of his mind!

Your unrequited Love though cannot resurrect, resists ever bein
abandon'! You, but splitted heart - revengeful or weepin - upon
the other side of laptop screen!
