The Outsider Poem by Romella Kitchens

The Outsider

A light tap here.
A full rush there.
A guiding to the stark precipice edge.

A lone but not lonely
pony in a field.

His mother dead.
His father dead.
His brothers dead.

He finally gets what he wants. --
Peace...
A field to traipse
back and forth in all by himself.

A lone pony.
He practices soliloquies.
Still
how does he explain
it all to God
when it is his turn?
