The Pain Of A Woman Who Can'T Give Birth Poem by hopewell syprien

The Pain Of A Woman Who Can'T Give Birth

I can see the sorrows, the pain,
she is going trough.
There she is, down on her knees.
Saying in tears, Oh, Lord give me just only one child.
Coz my mother-in-law call me names.
she says am less woman.

There she is, her marriage at stake.
She cries day and night.
Now the thought of committing suicide,
plays like a repeated song on her head.

Hey, Hey Woman.
I say put dat gun down.
I say take dat knife back to the drawer.
Take dat poison away, do not drink it.
Please mother don't hang your self.
Oh, mother I say let go of that' thought.
Your blessings are upon you, there at the door.
Waiting for you to open and grab it.

Oh, Lord hear thy supplication of this woman.
Oh, Father answer her.
She has suffered enough.
Just bless her wit' the child.
You did it on Sarah, now dry her tears.
The Pain of a Woman who can't give Birth.

I am real sad, I feel the same pain though I ain't a woman. I pray too May God bless Thee with the ever rain of blessings.
