THE PAINTER Poem by Roland Jooris

THE PAINTER

He writes in dots, in stains.
He scribbles what he sees.
He does not
ignore the stiffness
in his arm.

He mows the rustling
down
in even lines.

He journeys towards
the invisible,
the blind lime washed
lucidity
within his reflecting
visual field.
