The Park Poem by Rik Bertrand

The Park

The Pain I feel is not for me,
for I have seen the light.
I feel the pain for the lost,
that are dying in the night.

I was there and saw the evil,
That lurks in the dark.
but never again will I wander,
into that dreadful park.

The park is bright with the day,
but evil lurks at night.
the beast preys on lonely souls,
that have no chance to fight.

All be warned who travel there,
beware of the beast.
for if you're there when the moon is full,
evil will have a feast.

(your favorite park?)
