In utter silence, he bore all-
His sufferings by our transgressions;
His blood was red and shed for souls
With stains of sins to turn snow-white.
Until the moment last, He died,
He thought of everyone's future;
Christ's passion had to become true
To prove Him God, and save me, you.
Good Friday was a sad event
Heralding Christ's resurrection;
And Jesus pleaded for sinners
For forgiveness, from Father God.
The spotless sacrificial lamb
Got slain for mankind's crimes and sins;
But humbly took the death on cross
Redeeming mankind's souls from hell.
Love died upon the cross to give
Eternity with God and live;
Good Friday is a holy day,
That heralded Easter en way.
The light and way are dark for now;
The tomb will soon be empty, aye!
Arise will Jesus Christ live, wow!
A triumph over death, third day.
