The Pebble And The Rock Poem by Uloia Norris Moore

The Pebble And The Rock

Rating: 5.0

Unto the rock the pebble so small
did ask of it? Simple question
was all Great massive, heavy rock
how is it that you are so tall?
With great effort of movement
for the river was a torrent when
upon the small delicate, soft shiny
smooth perfectly well rounded without
flaw the booming voice from he so tall
mellowed his answer filled with awe
answered to the pebble with word's
like this.........Tiny most humble pebble,
you so very long ago, were once the mightiest
mountain on the face of the earth.
