The Philosopher Of The Pointed Beard Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

The Philosopher Of The Pointed Beard

The Philosopher of the Pointed Beard said:
‘See I have climbed the Mount as you have'

Aid the Serpent said : See I have climbed d as you
With my belly on he rocks and dust in my face

Then said the Philosopher
Now let us of Metaphysics speak

Changed colour the Snake, turned and went down.

Loud a Thunder in the Heavens clapped.

And fled the Serpent the noble Philosopher.
