The pieces of my heart,
I swore would be left broken.
But you came into my life,
like a missing token.
I promised to keep my guard,
now I'm finding it hard.
Whenever you smile,
life seems subsequently worthwhile.
Your kiss is sweet and gentle,
I instantly feel little.
When you hold me in your arms,
everything feels just right.
I hope we never fight.
No matter what we go through,
you're always by my side.
When all I want to do,
is run and hide.
Even on this crazy ride.
