The Piscean Method Poem by anonymous youth

The Piscean Method

Rating: 4.3

You don't know who I am,
But as you can plainly see,
My eyes, they hold no light,
They are lifeless as can be.

As hollow as a seashell
And as empty as a jar,
My heart just sits there motionless
As most people's are.

However, unlike others
Whose tears just stain their minds
I escape into my fantasies
Retreat and shut the blinds.

My psyche is a curtain,
Keeping out most of the light.
And yet some truth still filters in
So I prefer the night.

While Suffering, my only friend
May tempt me with an end,
His promises are shoved aside
'Till they return again.
