The Place Of Grace Poem by Bamisaye Adeniran

The Place Of Grace

In the midst of difficulty
When I could no longer rely on ability
‘cos I’m in the midst of those endowed by ability
The best my ability would produce is futility.

The best it could produce was inability
Then I became the victim of humility
And I realized in the midst of my university
I’ve to sort the face of the Almighty.

In total humility
I’ve come to the abode of reality
With the best of pace
I’ve come to the home of grace.

I’ve come with confidence
To the place of grace
Please look from your throne
Cos I can’t do it all alone.
