The Plea Of A Bleeding Soul Poem by Napa Napa

The Plea Of A Bleeding Soul

She stands waiting for an embrace that will never be achieved.

Ready to do anything to receive that star.

To become the woman they wanted her to be.

In spite, if it was against every dream she held.

Working day and night for something never to come.

Left abandoned. With this person who she never knew.

"Why? Why? " she asked.

Maybe she can still win that star full of hope.

Even though inside she knew they shunned her for who she became.

Just to be left with a hole never to be filled,

Never to be loved.

Not ever to be noticed by anyone but hidden in plain sight.

Never to be the woman she once wanted to be,

But a shadow of the one she created for the ones she loved.

Time lost staring at what she is to do with this stranger inside.

Many have come to try to learn and understand what is left of the ruins,

But all everyone wants was only a piece never the whole.

To prove to her what she always knew.

To never be loved for who she is, just for who she can become.

But that little girl will always be waiting eagerly for that star.

Torturing herself with pain and misery.

Lying hopelessly in silence knowing.

She can never go back and change,

But forced to get to know the stranger she chooses to create.
