The Poem was not there
I was not there -
The Silence was there
The Quiet was there
The Waiting was there-
I was not there
And the Poem was not there-
And there was only an Emptiness which in saying itself
Was also lost-
And I tried and I tried again
But I was not there
And the Poem was not there also.
