The Poet And His Drishya Poem by Meiraj Ahmed

There's a bold soul wrought with the scenery of love
I said to my muse,
And the magic dream formed a life so pure
In the words the muse used,

Now the Muse she was my happiness,
I rhymed and worshipped her, but never two-faced,
She was my princess and I, her prince,
I told her she's one treasure I 'd never earn!
I'd sail the blackened seas, I'd wail across the monstrous skies...
Searching for my soul,

Pause and ponder in the stillness of dawn,
By nightfall, I dedicate her my whole,
Till the day love moved away like a pawn...
In a game I don't know, I love that she tore me from within some more...

Oh, my poet, she called as she drowned in a frown,

" I'm unaware and unsound, your journey makes me astound,
You're like a blanket of joy
I'd shelter my soul until you turn me around...

Reshape my destiny,
I will show you a different view,
I'm the lady of light, you are mad about,
Call out my name oh dear,
Swirl out the world in a storm,
Take me into you within, forever now"

She left me to stammer while we sleep,
I told her I'm not even better,
I swore to bring back my love
the stories I'dcreate
Nightmares shifted in their sleep
In the brightness of her stare

In the dead of night if she came to me,
I'dgive her my all to assure,
She's the temple of my soul...

Now if its real or just a view
One mystery remains
For it is said once every night
I only catch The moon traveling through her eyes...
often the world is in symphony like the insignia,
I dedicate my soul to my beautiful drishya! : -*
