Poked by the universe
Shock waves from the big bang
Manipulating the poetic mind
Forcing it to wonder
To process words
Refining them with utmost care
Emotional straws pulled apart
Broken into tiny pieces of meaning
Life dissected into minute particles of love
Or maybe sadness
An eternal accord of life left intact
For life to proceed
Unharmed by the trespassing poetic mind
With its entourage of words
And their stampeding hoofs
