My word, what joys this gift can bring to poets young and old,
And poetesses pondering find poems to unfold.
Just like a scroll that could conceal the poem's words as yet,
Each line-by-line must soon reveal the thoughts that writers get.
From out of nowhere, themes arise, examples fit to share,
We write or type and realise this answer to our prayer!
And then comes rhythm, beat-by-beat, and rhymes that soon take place,
Until each line gets made complete, thanks to amazing grace!
And should we edit even more, we find a treasure chest,
That often thrills us to the core, to leave us as impressed.
We look back on the words that came, the ideas to and fro,
Such that we cannot stay the same because of what we know!
No wonder that we go online and share our poetry,
Perhaps to bless a Valentine with wondrous words to see!
