The Police And A Clown Poem by Julius Akim

The Police And A Clown

Asking! Interrogating,
That's how the story begins,
Witty charms and catchy quotes,
The police begin,
Like a deceitful siren in a deep blue ocean,
Luring the clown towards the trap,
Of being condemn and convict,
The easy way.

Nervous! anxious,
That's how it is,
Blunt lines and laughing,
All that the clown do,
Like a foolish jester in the courtroom,
Acting a fool is all one can do,
For it is the only save heaven left,
The last resort.

Ultimately the police wins,
The clown's a fool to be busted,
No! It's the police,
To bust a clown, a mortal half-wit fool.
