The Precious Words, The Scripture Says? In Rhyme Poem by Dr John Celes

The Holy Scripture – Word of God
Beckons us live like Jesus Christ,
And carrying our cross follow first,
In shadow and footsteps of the Lord.

A virgin gave birth to a boy-child –
The Son of God, Immanuel,
Who laid his life, a sinless soul –
The Lamb of God, most meek and mild.

Christ resurrected on third day,
And won victory o’er death forev’r;
His Father’s, he obeyed each say,
And there was not a nay or nev’r.

We learn the meaning of our life,
The purpose for what God made us,
That faith is paramount ’midst strife,
For us to enter paradise.

Faith, love, hope, charity are prime
Virtues that man must well possess
To spend his earthly days sublime,
And reach abode of Maker’s –bliss.

The Omnipotent God speaks on
To souls He made with love endless,
Bestowing gift of His own Son,
And talents, blessings, grace boundless.

The Bible stories give wisdom,
And tell us how to lead good lives,
By guiding us to God’s stardom,
As per the Saviour’s word foredrives.

They warn us of the wrath of God,
His forgiveness of sinners all,
His love on cross shown by each word,
His love for man ever since fall.

The scripture shows how world was born,
The second coming of Christ Lord,
Good news about God’s Kingdom’s dawn,
The Judgement Day with Christ’s tongue like sword.

The scripture unfolds mankind’s fate,
The words of prophets, men of God,
The road to heaven’s narrow gate,
The heaven’s beauty, God made odd!

The Alpha and Omega – one God
Is timeless, indiscernible;
The truth that’s told by Bible’s word,
The mystical One, eternal!
