You are a wolf watching me eat
You crack down in the tall grass
So I do not see you.
Your sharp white teeth clenched together
Your beautiful green eyes staring me down
Your paws pressurizing the ground beneath you.
As you let out a soft growl
I quickly look your way
And begin to run away.
You quickly get up and chase me around
As I grow tired I begin to slow down
Then you pounce on my back digging your claws deep into my skin
And you begin to sink your teeth into my neck.
As I struggle I feel your teeth being deeper into my skin
As I take my last few breaths of life begin to realize
That you are the prayer and I am the prey
You are a wolf and I am a deer.
