The Price That You Pay Poem by Jerry Abrahamson

The Price That You Pay

Sometimes it seems so funny
The price that you pay
You think of how it could have been
If you didn't do the things that you have done

But, that is what has shaped you
And made you who you are
It has helped to mold you
And make you your own way

But, you still can't help but wonder
About the one you left behind
At how their lives have changed
I guess that's the price you pay
