The Queue Poem by Sally Plumb Plumb

The Queue

Rating: 5.0

I'm getting
nowhere slow
wondering where
to go.
The mug shot
in my bus pass
looks older
than I know
as I cram
the queue
of what to do
trying to keep
pace with them
and you.
On my toes
the foot in front
stops my progress
dead.
Now it's started
raining
and I wish
I was in bed.
