The Quiet Night Poem by Amrut Bhandari

The Quiet Night

In the velvet hush of evening's veil,
Where shadows weave their silent tales,
A moon's soft sigh spills silver light,
On dreams that flutter through the night.

Stars scatter secrets across the skies,
Each a distant, twinkling guise,
Of stories whispered, old and true,
In constellations' darkened hues.

The night, a canvas deep and vast,
Embraces moments, slow and fast.
It hides the day's relentless pace,
In shadows draped with tender grace.
