The Rain Poem by Tee'k Aminu

The Rain

I see cloud gathers
Over my fore-fathers struggle
I hear the thunder;
Close-by is the echo of the strike,
I feel wet already
While the roof over me
Remain still and dry.
I feel the rain coming,
Tears dryin' up and smiles
Brighten up enough
To over-shadow the sun

I heard you…Time!
Jagged blade do cut through
But leaves more than a dime
In due season,
But this episode
This new road, this warmness
Left me over-whelmed.
I feel the rain coming,
Tears dryin' up and smiles
Brighten up enough
To over-shadow the sun.
