The Reality Of My Dreams Poem by Elmer Romulo Valdez

The Reality Of My Dreams

Rating: 5.0

My dreams won't come true, if you're gone,
My sobs will make me ill, if you forget me,
The promise will be broken, if you vanish,
You're my dream's reality, to let me live.

Your smiles give me strength, trials I'll face,
Your loving glances lose the cares and threats,
Thinking of you, my vigor quickly renews,
You're the hope the colors my life's views.

Don't cease to think of me, for you are my life,
Your word is my guide to do what is right,
Your eyes are my light to find the true way,
As they illuminate my love's enduring purity.
